The UNWTO; Innovation and digitization as main priorities of the European tourism agenda.

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) highlighted the importance of tourism and technology offering opportunities for innovation and job creation for the future at its 63rd meeting with the European Commission held in Prague, Czech Republic (Del June 11 to 13, 2018)

Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili at the meeting of the UNWTO and the member states to organize the agenda for the region, described the intention of organizations to make innovation part of the solution to the challenge of joining continuous growth with a more sustainable tourism sector and responsible.

In a strategic discussion on innovation and the digital transformation, Mr. Pololikashvili made clear his vision to create an ecosystem of government policies, funds and strategic projects that nurture disruptive ideas and entrepreneurship, for which he enlisted the help of Member States and private sector members in the region.
